Player of the Week

Sarah Duncklee, UMaine-Presque Isle
(Junior, INF - Kearny, Arizona)

Duncklee hit .447 (17/38) with a slugging percentage of .694, hitting 3 doubles, 2 triples, and one home run over 11 games this week. She tallied 20 RBI, including 10 against Mass Maritime on Sunday, while crossing the plate herself for the Owls 13 times and stealing four bases. Defensively, she recorded 23 putouts, 26 assists, and with only one error, had a .980 fielding percentage on 50 total chances in the shortstop position.


Pitcher of the Week

Katlyn Coulter, Thomas
(Sophomore, P/1B - Jefferson, New Hampshire)

Coulter picked up three wins and a save in five appearances in the circle, recording a 0.54 ERA with 11 strikeouts in 26.0 innings. She got the season-opening win over Nichols, where she pitched six scoreless innings. Her best performance of the week came in her final appearance, where she allowed just one run, unearned, in a complete-game victory over Middlebury. She struck out six batters and scattered nine hits in the win.


Rookie of the Week

Bailey Dunphy, Thomas
(Freshman, C/OF - North Anson, Maine)

Dunphy started her rookie campaign strong with a .375 (9/24) batting average with two triples, a double, eight runs, four RBI and four stolen bases in the Terriers 6-2 week. She had a stellar week in the field as well, splitting time behind the plate and in left field. While catching, she threw out two runners on four stealing attempts, and allowed just one passed ball. She had a perfect fielding percentage in left field with 21 putouts and two assists on 23 total catches.
