Player of the Week

Whitney Bess, Husson
(Freshman, OF/3B - Madison, Maine)

Bess racked up 11 hits including a double and a triple, and not a single strikeout to hit .733 on the week. She scored 11 runs and knocked in four more to help the Eagles sweep both NVU-Johnson and NVU-Lyndon. She had a .933 slugging percentage and stole three bases in four games.


Pitcher of the Week

Kelsey Currier, Thomas
(Freshman, P/Util. - Cumberland, Maine)

Currier earned a 2-0 record for the Terriers in two starts, holding a 0.50 ERA in 14 innings pitched. She pitched two complete games, against Colby and NVU-Johnson, striking out a total of 17 batters while walking three and only allowing five hits. She helped out at the plate as well, hitting .615 (8-for-13) with seven RBI and six runs scored, including a homerun, in four games.


Rookie of the Week

Bailey Dunphy, Thomas
(Freshman, C/OF - North Anson, Maine)

Dunphy hit .786 (11-for-14) this week, helping the Terriers to a 4-0 record. She drove in 12 runs on two doubles and a home run, while scoring eight times and stealing six bases. She had a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000 while splitting time behind the plate and in the outfield.
