Player of the Week

Alisha Celley, Northern Vermont-Lyndon

(Sophomore, C - Cabot, Vermont)

Celley posted a pair of double-doubles, averaging 17 points and 19.5 rebounds per game, leading the Hornets to wins in their regular season finale and first round game of the NAC women's basketball tournament. Celley closed out the regular season on Wednesday with 15 points, two blocks, and a game-high 16 rebounds in a victory over Northern Vermont-Johnson. In a quarterfinal win against UMaine-Farmington on Saturday, Celley drained 19 points and pulled down 23 rebounds – both game-high numbers. She also tallied five assists and four blocks in the balanced effort.

 
   

Rookie of the Week 

Lauren Plissey, Maine Maritime

(Freshman, F - Hermon, Maine)

Plissey continued her impressive freshman campaign, recording a double-double in the Mariners 58-48 win over Husson. The forward pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds to go along with 11 points, and also contributed four assists and three blocks. Plissey maintained composure to hit 9-of-12 free throws in the ten-point win, helping to deliver the first conference loss of the season to the top-seeded Eagles.
