Player of the Week

 Molly Denny, SUNY Canton
(Junior, M - Adams, New York)

Denny finished with 17 points on 11 goals and six assists, while adding seven caused turnovers and six ground balls, in a 2-1 week for the Roos. She totaled a game-best three goals and two assists to go with a ground ball and draw control in a 15-3 win versus Fitchburg State, avenging an overtime loss Canton had to the Falcons last year on spring break. The junior captain then totaled four goals, a game-best five caused turnovers, three ground balls, and a draw control in a 15-14 overtime loss to Carroll. Denny closed out her week with a game-high eight points on four goals and four assists to go with three draw controls, two caused turnovers, and two ground balls in a 17-0 shutout win in the NAC opener versus Thomas.

   
 

Defensive Player of the Week

 Mia Jermano, SUNY Canton
(Senior, D - Massena, New York)

Jermano spearheaded a defense that gave up an average of just 6.0 goals per game in three contests as the Roos went 2-1 last week. She tied a game-high with five caused turnovers to go with two ground balls in a 15-3 win against Fitchburg State to open the week. She added two caused turnovers and two ground balls in a 15-14 overtime loss to Carroll. Jermano closed the week with a game-high three caused turnovers, and added four ground balls and one draw control, while leading a defense that held Thomas scoreless and gave up just one shot on goal in a 17-0 win to open NAC play.

   
 

Rookie of the Week

Mary Cushing, Husson
(Freshman, A/M - Fairfield, Vermont)

Cushing helped Husson grab their first win by putting away five goals and an assist in their home opener against UMaine-Farmington. She also caused five turnovers and grabbed six ground balls in the triumph on their home field. Earlier in the week, Cushing tucked away four goals against the University of New England in Hilton Head, South Carolina for a total of 10 points on the week.
