Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honors (March 24, 2019)





Player of the Week

Nikki Bradstreet, Thomas
(Sophomore, M - Topsham, Maine)

Bradstreet scored 11 goals and tallied eight assists as Thomas went 2-1 on the week. The sophomore picked up 24 ground balls while pulling in eight draw controls and causing eight turnovers. To start the week, Bradstreet scored four goals while adding three assists and 11 ground balls and two caused turnovers in a non-conference tilt against Northern Vermont-Lyndon. Her top performance came on Sunday, when she scored six goals and assisted on four others, while also causing five turnovers, in a 14-8 victory over Bay Path.


Defensive Player of the Week

Mia Jermano, SUNY Canton
(Senior, D - Massena, New York)

Jermano spearheaded a defensive effort that allowed just eight goals over 120 minutes of play en route to a 2-0 week in conference play. She recorded a game-high five ground balls to go with a team-high three caused turnovers and added a draw control in a 19-5 road victory at Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday. The senior followed that up with a game-best four ground balls and added a caused turnover and draw control along with her second goal of the season in a 19-3 win at UMaine Farmington on Sunday.


Rookie of the Week

Erin Parks, SUNY Canton
(Sophomore, A - Watertown, New York)

Parks recorded a pair of hat tricks to go with two ground balls and a caused turnover in a 2-0 week for SUNY Canton. She opened the weekend with three goals on three shots, including going 2-for-2 on free-position shots, in a 19-5 road win at Maine Maritime Academy. Parks scored three more goals, collected two ground balls, and caused a turnover in the second NAC win of the weekend at UMaine-Farmington.
