2011 NAC East Division Women's Lacrosse Team Announced

Green Mountain first year midfielder Johanna Douglas was named the North Atlantic Conference East Division Player of the Year in a vote of the conference coaches. Douglas, who also picked up NAC East Rookie of the Year honors, led the Eagles scoring 23 goals with two assists in six conference games helping Green Mountain to a 5-1 league mark.

Husson sophomore Michelle Rancourt was named NAC East Division Defensive Player of the Year. In six conference games, the defender picked up 28 ground balls, caused 14 turnovers and controlled ten draws.

Husson head coach Mark Hundhammer was awarded NAC East Division Coach of the Year honors. This was the third consecutive sason Hundhammer has received the accolade. This season he guided the Eagles to a 5-1 mark in conference play and the NAC East Division Title.

Husson was awarded the Team Sportsmanship Award for the second consecutive season. NAC all-conference selections are determined by a vote of the conference coaches.
