Player of the Week

Makayla Lewis, Maine Maritime

(Sr., F - Purcellville, Va.)

The senior forward tallied the eventual game winner when she scored on a penalty kick and followed that up just a few minutes later with a header goal. Lewis also dished out two assists.

Defensive Player of the Week

Allison Wakefield, SUNY Canton

(Jr., GK - Mastic, NY)

Wakefield combined to make 15 saves in just under a game and a half in goal this week. She followed that up by stopping two shots in the first half on the road at Maine Presque Isle and then came out in the field in the second half. Wakefield neutralizd the one that got passed her by tying the game in the 62nd minute on just her second career goal and first of the season as the Roos went on to defeat the Owls 2-1.

Simeon helped lead the Mariners to their fifth-straight shutout with two goals in the team's 6-0 victory over NVU-Lyndon. The freshman midfielder scored unassisted in the 34th minute then knocked another one back a mere eight seconds later.
