NAC Women's Soccer Weekly Honors (Week Ending 10/14/18)



Player of the Week 

McKenna Brodeur, Me.-Farmington

(So., F - Oakland, Maine)

Brodeur led the Beavers with a huge five-goal week. She put two in the back of the net and dished out an assit in a conference victory over Northern Vermont-Johnson on Saturday, and followed up on Sunday with two more goals in a 3-2 loss against Castleton University.


Defensive Player of the Week 

Kayla Gordon, Thomas

(Sr., GK - Wiscassett, Maine)

Gordon earned two shutouts, leading the Terriers to a 1-0-1 week. She made a save in Thomas' 4-0 win over Unity on Thursday, then had a stellar 11 save performance to give the Terriers a 0-0 draw with NAC foe Husson on Saturday.


Rookie of the Week 

Margot Simeon, Maine Maritime

(Fr., M - Findlay, Ohio)

Simeon totaled seven points in the Mariners' 2-0 week, as the team secured their eighth and ninth shutouts of the season. Simeon tallied two goals and dished out three assists in the team's 10-0 victory over NAC oponent UMaine-Presque Isle on Saturday.
