Six teams qualified for the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) championship tournament following the conclusion of regular season play earlier today.
Thomas (10-4-1 overall, 6-0-1 NAC) claimed the top spot and the right to host the final four by virtue of win today over Maine Maritime Academy. The Mariners (11-3-1, 6-1) secured the number two seed and a bye in the first round.
No. 3 UMaine-Farmington (5-15, 5-2) will host No. 6 NVU-Johnson (7-9, 2-5) for a quarterfinal game Saturday, October 27th at 1:00 pm, and No. 4 Husson (5-9-1, 4-2-1) will host No. 5 SUNY Canton (4-11-1, 2-4-1) for the other quarterfinal match up on Sunday, October 28th at 12:00pm.
The semifinal and championship games will happen in a final four format at the top seeded institution, Thomas College, on November 3rd and 4th. No. 1 Thomas will play the Husson/SUNY Canton winner at 1:00 pm before No. 2 Maine Maritime plays the winner of the game between UMaine-Farmington and NVU-Johnson at 3:30 pm on Saturday, November 3rd.
The semifinal game winners will meet in the championship match on Sunday, November 4 at 2:00 pm.
The NAC Champion will move on to play in the NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament.
