The NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Committee announced the field of 64 teams for the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship.
UMaine-Farmington (8-12) will head to Middlebury College (Middlebury, Vt.) for a first-round regional match-up with the host team on Saturday, November 10 at 11:00 am.
UMaine-Farmington upset Thomas College to win the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship to advance to the national tournament, while Middlebury (15-1-2) qualified for the NCAA Tournament by upsetting 2017 National Champion Williams College to win the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) tournament.
Rochester (NY) and Ithaca will also head to Middlebury for first-round play. The winners will meet for a chance to move on to the sectional round.
Second-round winners will advance to one of four sectional sites November 16 and 17. Winners of the four sectionals will advance to the national semifinals, which take place Nov. 30 at UNCG Soccer Stadium in Greensboro, North Carolina, with UNC Greensboro and Greensboro Sports Commission serving as hosts. The national championship game will be played December 1.
