Senior goalkeeper Kerry Kowalczyk of Maine-Farmington and sophomore forward Jodi Fralick of Lesley were selected as North Atlantic Conference co-Players of the Year in a vote by the conference coaches. Kowalczyk led the conference in save percentage and goals against average allowing just one score in over 760 minutes of conference action.
Fralick, the 2006 NAC Rookie of the Year and two-time all-conference first team selection, was always a threat during conference play averaging over six shots per contest. In league contests Fralick scored six times, including three game winners, with three assists for the Lynx.
Castleton freshman forward Ashley Ledoux was selected as the conference Rookie of the Year. A first-team all-conference selection as well, Ledoux tallied 8 goals in 9 league games for the Spartans.
Lesley head coach Paul Vasconcelos and Castleton head coach Chris Chapdelaine shared NAC Coach of the Year Honors. Wheelock College was honored with the Team Sportsmanship Award. NAC all-conference selections are determined by a vote of the conference coaches. Additional players honored are due to ties in the voting.
