  • Colby-Sawyer Wins NEAC Women's Tennis Title

    The Colby-Sawyer College women's tennis team defeated Keuka, 8-1 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship match at the Sportime Tennis club late Saturday night. The Chargers win their second straight conference title in the third year of affiliation. The championship is the program's seventh overall.
  • Lincoln Headlines NEAC East All-Conference Honors

    Colby-Sawyer senior Elizabeth Lincoln earned her second-straight North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division Women’s Tennis Player of the Year award, headlining the 2013 All-Conference announcement. The award caps a stellar season in which Lincoln earned Player of the Week honors twice in addition to NEAC East All-Tournament accolades.

    Ramsay helped lift the Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team to a second straight NEAC East Division Crown with a pair of sweeps in the semifinals and finals on Saturday. For her efforts Ramsay was named Most Valuable Player of the Tournament, and is also Player of the Week.

    Colby-Sawyer received All-Tournament performances from Elizabeth Lincoln and Ashlyn Ramsay en route to a clean sweep of the North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division Women's Tennis Championship Saturday at Castleton.

    Elizabeth Lincoln helped Colby-Sawyer put the finishing touches on an unbeaten conference slate, winning all four of her matches and earning Player of the Week honors. Lindsey Allen helped Thomas solidify the third spot in the upcoming conference tournament, earning four wins and the Rookie of the Week award.

    Castleton picked up a pair of NEAC East wins this week, buoyed by the success of Olga McIntyre and Ruby Bushey who earned Player and Rookie of the Week honors respectively. McIntyre has now won six-straight singles matches, while Bushey compiled a perfect 4-0 mark against Lyndon and Johnson State.

    Kayla Flynn helped propel Lyndon to a narrow 5-4 win over NEAC East foe Castleton with wins at first singles and doubles to earn Player of the Week honors. Castleton's Kaydeen Juaire went a perfect 4-0 at fourth singles and third doubles and was named Rookie of the Week.
