Track Athlete of the Week
Leah Desjardins, Husson
(Junior - Poland, Maine)
With a seventh place finish in a field of 96 runners in the 100-meter dash at the Penman Relays, Desjardins broke the Husson program record with a time of 12.73, while also qualifying for the New England Division IIII Regional Championship and setting the standard in the NAC to this point in the season. She also ran a leg in the 4x100-meter relay to help bring in a seventh-place time of 51.96 for the Eagles.

Field Athlete of the Week
Lillian Friars, Thomas College
(Sophomore - Lebanon, Maine)
Friars qualified for the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championship in the discus with an event-winning 34.86 meter throw at the Terriers' home meet on Sunday. She also won the hammer throw with a 37.36 meter effort, and finished third in the shot put with a 9.56 meter throw. Friars currently has the top discus throw, and the third and sixth marks in the hammer and shot put, respectively, in the NAC so far this season.

Rookie of the Week
Katerina Salcedo, SUNY Delhi
(Freshman - Binghamton, New York)
Salcedo claims the third Rookie of the Week honors in as many weeks to start the 2019 campaign. The freshman ran a conference-best 1:01.97 in the 400-meters at the Broncos' home invitational, and was on the winning 4x100-meter relay team that broke 50 seconds and set a new conference standard at 49.99.
