UMF Men, Women Win 2005 NAC Cross Country Championship
FARMINGTON, Maine - For the second-consecutive year, the UMF menís and womenís cross country teams captured the NAC Cross Country Championship, which was held today in Farmington, Maine. UMF took first place on the menís side with 36 points, while Johnson State was second with 45. On the womenís side, UMF captured five of the top nine spots for 21 points, followed by Johnson State with 66. Joe Fitzsimmons of UMF won the menís individual championship, after finishing second last year, with a time of 29:30.9, while UMFís Andrea Spearrin won the womenís title for the second year in a row, clocking 21:36.1. UMFís Drew Croteau (30:49.0) and Kate Dickinson (22:20.1) finished second on the menís and womenís side, respectively. View Photos from the Event.
